Who or What inspired you to blog?
My heartbreak. It all started when I first traveled abroad with a broken heart then I decided to write it down. Actually I really like writing in my diary. It’s a personal thing and I thought that maybe I could blog and some people could relate to it. I also applied as a travel writer and my articles were published and got many likes. This is where it all began.
Out of all the topics, why blog about travel?
I love to travel at the same time I like to write. It’s a perfect combination.
What is the content of your blog?
My blog is all about thoughts and experiences that my co traveler and readers can relate to. Something also that connects deeply with them with a heart. Sometimes, I write guides or how-tos, I want to contribute by sharing some tips that could be very useful for travelers like me.
Escapesanddiaries.com cater to what audience in particular?
This is for those who like to find meaning in everything, who values and appreciates every little thing when it comes to life and traveling. It is also for girls who like heart to heart posts. 🙂
What do you think is the weirdest thing about you based other’s perception?
You once told me that eating bulalo at Barcino is weird so that is probably one. For other people, they find me weird for being too positive and for most foreigners, they find it so weird that I eat rice three times a day without gaining weight.
What is your favorite movie and why?
Well, I do have a lot of favorite movies but If I were to choose a real favorite one, this has to be “Hector and the Search for Happiness “. I can actually relate to this movie, it’s like he does the same routine every day and he feels unhappy, everything seems monotonous and lifeless until he decided to travel and search for the meaning of life. He realized there is more out there. Life doesn’t start when you found a good job, it starts when you appreciate what is waiting for you out there. Something that you’ve never thought there would be and for me, that’s the true value of living your life.
Isang tanong, isang sagot “Rough or smooth?”
I like it rough because rough is tough! It means challenges. It teaches us to be a better person. After all, that’s what life is all about. Life is full of challenges.
