Tagaytay covers 6,500 hectares of land amongst a ridge just above Taal Volcano. Climate

If you want to experience the coolest climate of Tagaytay, the best time to visit is December however, this is also the peak season where travelers visit the city. Rainy season is from May to October. It’s also a good idea to visit Tagaytay City during summer which is from March to May. The colder breeze of the city will help you relax.

How to go to Tagaytay City

If you are coming from Metro Manila, there are many of buses coming from there. If you know where Coastal Mall is, you can go there and take a bus to Tagaytay. Another alternative is to ride the MRT and get off at Taft Avenue, head to the back alley of McDonalds and you will be able to find the buses heading to Nasugbu, Batangas. You can also ride the LRT and get off at Baclaran. Head to the national road and ride a bus destined for Mendez. If you are coming from Calamba, Laguna, go to SM Calamba and take the van going to Olivarez. If you find yourself in Batangas and would like to visit Tagaytay, simply look for buses heading to Pasay or Cubao. View Map.
 

Food Trip at Tagaytay

There are many cuisines available in the city for any type of taste buds. The burger with patties made out of mushrooms instead of beef is a must try. You will also find a lot of coffee shops in case you want to balance the cold weather with a warm drink. Basically, Tagaytay city has a lot to offer if you are hungry.
 

Churches in Tagaytay

Aside from different tourist spots in Tagaytay city, churches has also been a go to place. Among the popular churches are Ina ng Laging Saklolo, Lourdes Church, Chapel on the Hill, Madre de Dios Chapel and San Antonio de Padua. Just in case you want to visit a church nearby, Transfiguration Chapel also known as Caleruega is just a couple of minutes away from the city.
